Never use them! Anthony was professional, kind, but his counterpart, Genesis Montino is the most incompetent insurance agent. I don't know if she used Chat GPT to learn how to be an agent or if she faked her way through interviews. Rude of me to say, yes, but she single handedly screwed up insurance policy with Travelers.
January- my mom and I attempted to set up two auto policies for my brothers vehicle and mine with an accompanying umbrella policy. Together these policies costed a little over $4,000. My vehicle was only $1596.22.
February- Still setting up a auto policy for me. Genesis put my bank account as the default account. Travelers pulled $4,000 out of my bank account 3 times over the course of 4 weeks leading into March. Mind you I should only pay $1500 for my policy and it should be set up monthly.
March- Overdrafted my bank account to the point I could not pay rent on the first of the month so I had to pay a late fee until Travelers returned payment. Obviously, I was pissed! Genesis, and I quote told me "there's not much I can do at this point". Anthony, resolved this, or so I thought. At this point, I didn't want to deal with Comparion. The fact that Genesis said nothing could be done, was straight up lazy, and embarrassing for her.
IT IS APRIL, APRIL! I just got off the phone with travelers due to a cancellation of the policy I WAS NEVER MADE AWARE OF BECAUSE GENESIS NEVER PUT MY PERSONAL INFORMATION INTO THE SYSTEM- ONLY MY MOMS WHICH IS WHY I COULD NEVER GET INTO AN ACCOUNT. Travelers additionally should have been pulling monthly payments after I spoke with them. I have been dealing with this for a week. It is going to take 2 hours just to fix this issue and I am so grateful for the awesome agents at Travelers who are finally fixing everything, but they literally have to back track every aspect of how the policy was set up.
I never was sent declaration pages, I never was sent login information, I never was sent insurance cards. Genesis also texts as if I were to be her best friend- completely unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and I will be reporting her to the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance.
I am sorry for this long, drawn-out paragraph, and my tone. I am dumbfounded. Mind you, I am a personal injury paralegal and deal with auto insurance FOR A LIVING, so yes, I don't understand how someone messes up that bad. I should have set this up myself. The only thing I could have done better on my end was set this up myself and stay more on top of the updates... which was quite literally impossible due to the back and forth with Travelers, my mom, anthony, and Genesis. I naively thought they had figured it out until I followed up in March with Travelers.
